“I Know This Place” (IKTP) is an immersive, experimental first-person game that takes players on a mystical quest with an enigmatic plot. Set in the atmospheric surroundings of interconnected apartments, each with its own unique riddles, characters, and quests, the game invites players to explore and influence its development. Gameplay Overview

IKTP offers a seamless gaming experience with keyboard and mouse or gamepad controls. Players can interact with various objects, inspecting them closely to uncover valuable information. The protagonist’s lines are voiced in two languages (English and Russian), adding to the immersion. The first chapter is filled with objects and clues that raise intriguing questions, allowing each player to interpret the story in their own way.

Set in the mystical atmosphere of an eternal autumn evening in an old fictional dystopian city apartment from the late 80s and 90s, the game creates a sense of familiarity and wonder. As players explore different apartments, they’ll encounter a variety of characters, solve riddles, and complete quests. Puzzles range from simple to complex, with rewards and prizes for solving them and discovering easter eggs. The more you look around there, the more the question arises, “Do I know this place?”

Game Requirements

Built on the powerful Unreal Engine 4 with NVIDIA DLSS and Raytracing technologies, IKTP offers stunning visuals and smooth gameplay. The game supports Xbox gamepads and requires a Windows 10 desktop device with the Steam app installed in order to get started. The first chapter is currently available in English and Russian, with potential for more languages in the future.

IKTP features an autosave system for checkpoints, which will become increasingly important in future chapters. The game also includes an interactive map in the menu to help players track their progress and key items for solving puzzles. To fully immerse yourself in the mystical atmosphere, it is recommended to use headphones.
